HI Guys,
My name is Rohit and am new to this forum hope you are doing great!.

I just had a question in regards to motion and specifically the axes I understand which of the motions ie roll pitch and yaw belong to however logically I for no whatsoever reason seem to coneptualise he pitch would be longitudinally and roll laterally.

Yaw I can understand and can conceputalise being normal aka vertical which it is.

Please explain the above much appreciated.

Cheers
Rohit

Much appreciated carrello.

See I can get the axis run for the respective motions as they do it's just logically my brain seems to compute pitching longitudinally and roll laterally

If you held the aircraft still by the longitudinal axis, the only motion possible would be roll
If you held the aircraft still by thel ateral axis, the only motion possible would be pitch
If you held the aircraft still by the normal axis, the only motion possible would be yaw
