Hi Bob and all,
I'm reading the page 92 and getting a little confused and wish someone can make it clear and simple:
What will happen to angle and rate:
1. during the decent IAS+ (tailwind)
2. during the decent IAS - (headwind)
3. climb IAS+
4. climb IAS-

In every case wind has no effect on RATE of climb or descent. So no matter what the wind is doing, it will never affect the RATE of climb or descent (or rate of turn for that matter).
A head wind will reduce the distance covered in a climb or descent for the same height loss. So the angle will be steeper. A tail wind will increase the distance covered in a climb or descent for the same height loss. So the angle will be shallower.
