Hi Bob,
Going through the practice exams at the back of the book, and in Final exam 1, question 42.
For a VFR passenger carrying charter flight over water in a single engine aircraft, the distance between land areas suitable for emergency landing shall be no greater than,
a. 30 min at normal cruise tas
b. 25 nm (my answer)
c. 50 nm (correct answer in book)
d. no restriction
I'm using up to date Jeppensen and in Air Traffic Control, Climb and Cruise AU 812, 8.2:
"In the case of passenger carrying charter operations, the distance from land areas suitable for an emergency landing must not exceed 25 nm."
