Hi,

The Aspeq website now states that the CAO 48.1 instrument (2019) is only permitted in the exams.

I recently purchased the air law book and it all refers to 2013. Additionally, the Addenda all refer to 2013. Can you confirm whether the material in the books referring to 2013 are still current?

Note: There is also a thread from a week or so ago whereby the poster indicates he had 4 questions wrong by using 2013 in the exam.

Thanks,

Lucas

I'll leave it to Bob to speak to the book. However, to be fair, it does take a little while to revise stuff, especially with the workload of all subjects to keep under control ...

However, the following points are relevant -

(a) the new rules have been out for some weeks

(b) I had occasion to ring Gavin to check when the new words came into effect for the exam. He confirmed, as I expected, that the exams match the current words for ANY subject so, given an amendment, the exam will address that amendment from the WEF date.

Hi John - thanks for your reply

The intent of my question isn't to complain but to confirm that studying the 2013 material, and completing the end of chapter questions and exam style questions, will in effect be the same as the 2019 material.

Otherwise I shall ignore these sections of the book and not confuse myself.
