Hi Everyone,

Hope someone explains the difference between Q14 and Q15 on page 52. my question is why does Q15 consider paragraph 3.3? from what I understand, both questions fall within the statement of 3.1 - at least 4 consecutive hours?

Thanks in advance

Hi Hyaman,

The difference is q14 rest period has 'sleeping accom' provided and q15 has 'resting accom' instead.
4h max vs 2h max.

I have a different query with these 2 questions now which is why the allowable maximum FDP duration after a rest period is not factored into the answers?

3.5 Any remaining portion of an FDP following a split-duty rest period must be no
longer than 5 hours.

Shouldn't the latest time to be relieved of duty be reduced if the remaining FDP for q14 after the rest is 6H and the remaining FDP for q15 after the rest is 7H?

Thanks
