ENR 1.1 (2.7) describes the requirement, in Class C or D control zones, for an 'Airborne Report' after take-off.

If an ATS surveillance service is provided, that Airborne Report is made on first contact with Centre, Approach, or Departures.

However, if there is no ATS surveillance, such as at certain class D aerodromes where they use procedures instead of radar to provide separation, then an Departure Report to the tower is required (unless VFR departing into class G).

My question: how do I determine which class D aerodromes have ATS surveillance, and which do not?
