Apart from your BAK and PPL books, what other books or "stuff" are needed for your course?

Hi Billo,

Those two are all you need to take part in the full time course and a bit of pre-reading will make your life a lot easier once you get here. You only need the two books for class but CASA wants you to have more material than that for their exam. If you want to know a full list of what CASA expects you to have, you can check that out here: www.casa.gov.au/scripts/nc.dll?WCMS:STANDARD::pc=PC_90074 . You will have to scroll a little for the PPL permitted material section. Don't worry though, once you get here, you will have a chance to place an order for any equipment you might not have but still need. But of course you can source everything yourself before you arrive.

We also have printed copies of CASA's VFG (Air Law) book which you can get from Lee at the school. The VFG can be used in lieu of the expensive and heavy collection of air law material CASA mentions in that list. We'll be talking about that on the morning of Day 1 of the course.

Are you booked in for the next course?

Cheers,

Rich

No worries billo, real life needs to be taken care of first. Look forward to seeing you when you get it sorted.

Cheers,

Rich
