Hi everyone,

If an airtransport flight is to proceed to an aerodrome with only one navigation aid. Does it require an alternate?

If the flight is conducted under the IFR it must be able to survive the failure of one airborne navigation aid and still have a means of conducting an instrument approach. (CASR Part 135 Mos Chapter 11.09(5)). The only other option would be to adopt VFR procedures if the weather permitted.
