For RPT and CHTR >5700kg your IREX text says nav aids required are
2 ADFs or
2 VORs or
2 GNSS 145/146.
One ADF and one VOR plus a DME or GPS.

I read GEN 1.5 para 2.1 as requiring

2 ADF or 2 VOR or an ADF and VOR, and a DME or GNSS, or
an ADF or VOR and a GNSS 145/146, as per note 4, or
2 GNSS 145/146

Do you need to add a DME or GNSS to para a and b in the book, or am I reading it wrong?

Also what is the reference for the requirement to carry a VOR if the route is served by VORs?

Could you clarify this for me?

Also, could you check Q8 in the alternates mini test on page 3.25 and the answer. The time of the FM should be FM020300 I think?
