Adding 50ft to the minimums?

I have just read something in the AIP that I never knew.

AIP ENR 1.5 34 Para 5.3.3

If the Approach plate minimums have a shaded box AND you have the actual QNH for the airport, you can takeoff 100ft from the published minimums, THIS I KNEW.
What I didn't know: If you only have the AREA QNH you have to ADD 50ft to those minimums.

From all the sources and Bob Taits book I was under the impression if its shaded you can take off 100ft if you have the Actual QNH but if not you must use the published minimums. Can't remember ever having to ADD 50ft? The only 50ft I know to ADD is you have no PEC on an ILS, you add 50ft to the DA.

I have an EXAM this Friday and could anyone please tell me am I reading this correct?

Cheers

Oh dear, disregard that last post, I found it in the Bob Tait book along with the rest of the whole page I missed!

It is gratifying to know that Casa aren't just making this stuff up sometimes.
