dvhlxa created the topic: IR Night Privileges

Hello Forum

I am trying to find the paragraph that says that a IR rated pilot can operate an aircraft under IR at night.

I remember this as part of the IREX but cannot find it anymore.

Thank you all

Do you mean - that an Instrument Rated pilot can operate at night under the VFR?
There's mention of that in the CASR Part 61 - 61.855 'Privileges of instrument ratings'.

Also a reference in the list of activities authorised under the 'Privileges and requirements for grant of Instrument Endorsements' found in the table 61.890 in CASR Part 61.

I think that was the section. I had in my mind that it would explicitly say that an IR holder can fly at night.
Seems to be implied in the rules.

Thanks!
