A holder of an IFR rating is authorised to fly at night under the VFR (CASR 61.855).
If she does not meet the recency experience requirements for IFR flight because she has not conducted 3 instrument approaches in 90 days (61.870), nor made an IFR flight of more than one hour (61.875), is she still entitled to fly at Night under the VFR, if there are no passengers?
Or does the NVFR rating's recent experience apply? (One night take-off and landing within 6 months (CASR 61.965)).

Howdy Rubber,
I work in the industry, but on helicopters. However, same Regs apply.
Most IFR operators I have flown with operating under the IFR by day and/or night, ensure pilots conduct a NVFR Flight Review every two years (alternating IPCs), so that if the exact scenario you outline occurs and as long as NVFR recency requirements are met, we can legally operate NVFR. Of course assuming the Wx conditions are suitable/legal.
In summary, I think your take on it is correct.
