Hi Folks

Just checking question 19 on page 7.31 of the text regarding SIGMET. Has the AIP been updated since the text was printed?

GEN3.5 (5.3.2) refers to aircraft operating below FL185. Could this be a recent update? The text gives correct answer of b (information given to aircraft operating at or below 10,000 ft).

Hoping this is the case.

Yes, the new reference in the AIP says that AIRMET messages refer to phenomena below FL185. It was 10,000 feet once but it has been changed. The latest version of the book reflects that.

Hey Bob,

GEN 3.5 - 5.3.2 looks to have been updated to aircraft operating below FL200.

Was wondering why the question still wasn't making sense. :laugh:
