GAF subdivisions

Hi all,

Does a GAF area (eg "A") include its subdivisions (eg "A1")..?

For example, to find the lowest cloud base in area A, do I include or exclude subdivisions (if any)?

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Just finished the exam (94%) and it was great to be clear on this point and not second-guess myself.
