Hi bob et al.

Just passed my CNAV. 85%.

Got completely bamboozled on a EOD question from Hay to Ayers Rock travelling west? hours of daylight etc and arriving 30 minutes before last light. Any thoughts would appreciate it if you have previous insight.

The main query i would like to put relates to a rate of climb question in Controlled Airspace, the 4500 to 9000 feet one actually. It started out with the statement something like "... Forgetting about allowances for Navigational tolerances what is the minimum RoC ....".

I took this to mean don't worry about the 500' protection buffer.

Can you perhaps guide me here Bob or Richard. :)

Look forward to any feedback. Greg

PS you'll be pleased to know i got all the Map questions right, even though i am still not entirely sure about those Rhumb line things....!
