Welcome to the CPL Performance question and answer forum. Please feel free to post your questions but more importantly also suggest answers for your forum colleagues. Bob himself or one of the other tutors will get to your question as soon as we can.
PJ332 created the topic: Ex 5.1 page 142 - fuel at takeoff 'min fuel'
In regards to the practice questions on page 142, in order to calculate Fuel at Take-off you need to use page 14 of Bob's supplement (para 2.3 Echo Fuel Policy).
My Question: As this page is not provided in the exam booklet, is this merely an extra step in the exercise for practice?
ie. in the real exam, will you not be asked to determine 'min fuel' for the flight in this manner.
Cheers.

You are correct. The reason the question refers to the supplement is to avoid the need to include the fuel policy in the question text each time such a question is asked. In the CASA exam, that information will be given in the question text of each question.
In the real world, you would have to consult the aircraft's operating handbook or flight manual if you didn't already know the details of the fuel policy.
