ECHO Question

I got this exam in the question, could i get assistance with the working please.

ECHO is loaded at gross weight 2862kg IU 682 and full fuel in the mains.
6 x 25kg packets in the rear. They want to add 2 pax to Row 3 @77KG each.

How many packets would need to be removed:

Remember that the aircraft must be within limits at zero fuel weight AND at take-off. Try putting the two extra passengers in and then taking the fuel out of the main tanks and check the c of g at zero fuel weight. You may find that it is within limits with the fuel in but out of the aft limit with no fuel on board.

Thanks Bob.

I did this actually and when I add pax the weight comes to 3016kg and IU 748.22
(which is outside the forward limit and over MTOW) FWD limit: 2577mm

Then I took the fuel out ZFW - 2744kg and 699.8 IU and it's within the envelope. FWD limit 2504mm


The difference between 3016kg and 2950kg is 66kg above MTOW - do I divide this by 25kg = 2..64 - 2 packets?
