hi all,
after going through the exam i found this below:
is there a mismatch in the date(s) listed or am i misinterpreting the first and second lines.

Refer to the TAF above. Rain showers are forecast -
Select one:

Hey, I'm studying for my PPL as well. I think the Terminal Area Forecast was issued at 630pm on the 6th, and is forecasting from 8pm on the 25th to 8am on the 26th (very unrealistic) and is saying that there will be a sudden change (denoted FM) from 11pm on the 25th to the end of the forecast period.

hey nat, thanks for the reply.

yea it does sound unrealistic thats why i was wondering if it was a typo or something since its so far ahead of the taf / ttf periods.

Oops - there's a typo in the issue time on that TAF - thanks for pointing it out. It shoudl read:

TAF YKRY 251830Z 2520/2608 12005KT 9999 BKN008 OVC100
FM 2523 -RASH BKN030
T11 13 18 20 Q1023 1025 1024 1022

yes i went on the assumption it was an error/typo and achieved the correct answer :)
