Hi all,
A question in the practice exam is as below.
Could someone kindly double check the answer for me? I keep getting 970kg and I swear I'm doing it right, as I've done plenty of these in the last few days.
The correct answer is however 1,000kg, but no explanation is given.
Could it possibly be a typo in the temperature? If the temperature was 20ÂșC, then 1,000kg would be correct. It is limited by the maximum climb weight.
Many thanks

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the reply.
This one appears to be very very marginal. I really hope in the exam they give you a bit more "room", i.e. the options are a bit further apart.
Now that I do it with with a very sharp pencil and very precise lines, I can see it's very close to 1,000kg, but it's still a stretch to get it to 1,000kg on the dot.
If a thicker pencil or pen was used one could easily get a lower answer and would be compelled to select 970kg, as you would normally round down for safety.
