This is my first post so apologies if this is posted in the wrong location.

I am getting conflicting information from Bob Tait and Aviation Theory Centre regarding avoiding wake turbulence from a proceeding aircraft on take off.

Bob Tait - Climb at Vx to avoid wake turbulence.
ATC - Climb at Vy to give a larger safety margin, providing greater protection from a stall.

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Vy and Vx already provide an adequate margin from a stall.
